In today's episode, I invited Amit Siingh. Amit is an entrepreneur by choice, MBA by design, and an engineer by default.

An engineer by default- because my whole family is cluttered with engineers, so by default I got to do that.

An MBA by design- It is the design of life that he did his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, otherwise, he had cleared FMS Delhi twice and was not able to join it before joining IIM A.

An entrepreneur by choice- Because in 2016, he made a choice which changed the course of his life and which was to quit his high paying job in Yes Bank and chose the path of which he calls 3F (Freedom, Financial, Fulfilment) through digital entrepreneurship.

But he is not a typical IIM & IIT success story. It has been a story full of failures and some successes. It is full of struggles of all types- personal, financial, health, relationship. A long story for some other time.

He has a unique experience of doing a 2 year MBA from IIM Ahmedabad after having more than 9 years of work experience and that too with a wife and a 3-year-old kid on the campus! The unconventional route taken by him has been covered widely in the media. Based on his unique insights, Amit authored a book called - The Black Book- The untold story of IIMs that nobody has ever told you- a book that helps MBA aspirants to make informed life and career decisions.

Since 2016, he co-founded a couple of startups (some success, some failures), helps companies and individuals as Digital Career Specialist.
